The BWC camera couples a 1080p30 high sensitivity system on chip imager with a highly integrated H.264 IP encoder to produce a tightly packed IP streaming camera.
It has been developed as a body worn product with a vest attachment to satisfy the needs of tactical users.
Encased in CNC machined aluminium with a high quality Fischer connector on its base makes it highly suitable for use in harsh operational environments.
The BWC is available with either a 90º or 60º horizontal field of view. It can also be configured to have white or covert 940nm IR LED illumination.
The user can choose to either disable the LED or have it auto switching, the control of which is dependant upon the ambient lighting conditions.
Strain relief cabling ensures reliable operation, whilst cable termination can be customer specified for interfacing to differing transmission equipment.
It also features a secure recording to micro SD card storage. Access to the stored video files is through FTP transfer tools or using the VE video player PC application.
Camera configuration is supported via a web page interface.
